| So by tomarow, I totaly meant 5 months later. Man I have been so distracted that I totaly forgot about my xanga. Well things have been going great. I love being at home because I love my job. I am still a jr. high youth leader and it is amazing. The group is growing and I have got some great kids. I have also got some crazy kids, but I love them too. Alright I am bored of typing so I am done for now. I will try to write more tomarow, and I will try to make sure that it is not five months later. Maybe it will be sux months later or maybe even seven. | | |
| So I love being back on campus. It is great. I miss all the times I got to hang out with friends and be real. My friends think I am crazy if I try to get real with them. I miss some of my Jr. Highers though. I have spent the last couple days chillin with my brother Nick. It has been some of the best days I have had since I left. I don't seem to have a lot to write about right now, but if you tune in tomariow, about the same time, you will see more. So until tomarow, Peace out. | | |
| If any of you havn't heard of the organization called Invisible Children, You are missing out.It is a christian missions organization that does all of it's work in Ugonda helping the children that have to walk into the cities every night and sleep on the church floor with all the rest of the kids just to keep from getting kid napped and forced to fight in a war they don't even believe in.
Well the organization organized an event throughout the world and in 133 different cities in the United Stated called Global Night Commute. The idea was to show up and lay down in the park to show our country and our countries leaders that people really care about what is happening in Ugonda. While there, we wrote letters to the president and one of our Senators letting them know how we felt about the situation. When I decided to go, I had know idea where to go or what to do. All I knew was that I had to bring a sleeping bag and a pillow. I found out where to go the day of and set out on my journey not knowing what to expect. I was thinking that there would only be a couple houndred people there and most of them to be the usual church going high schoolers, but when I got there a half an hour early, I was amazed to see the park half filled. Now this is a big park and by half full, I mean like 2500 people. By the time everyone showed up, there was close to or more than 5000 people there. And what amazed me even more, was that there were a lot of non-christians there too. It had to be one of the most amazing things I had ever seen. 5,00 high school and college students going someplace just so that they could sleep in a park for someone elses rights.
| So I just got the final say so from my mother yesterday. I am comming to Texas for two weeks. I leave here on the 26th of May and I am driving back with Crystal. I am so excited. I get to see most of your lovely faces again. I also have other good news. Some of you know and others don't, but I have decided to fast from My Space because I was getting distracted by it and I have just deleted it. I am not sure how long it will be, but not a second sooner then when the Lord tells me I am ready for one again. Bye Bye for now.
This is a picture of some of my friends here in San Diego. Aren't they cool.
